YouTubeHow it started.
Growing up in Barrington, Rhode Island, Nick watched their grandmother prepare family meals. As a child, they discovered that asking for ingredients worked better than asking for sweets, and made a lemon meringue pie. At Harvard, they built a Food and Climate concentration around their interest in cooking.
Finding an audience.
After graduating in 2019, Nick became the youngest-ever MasterChef finalist. Cooking videos brought a new kind of connection with viewers: in a Harvard Independent interview, Nick credited TikTok with helping them build and guide their own audience.
More ways to cook along.
Knife Drop arrived in 2023 with recipes, technique tutorials and a foreword by Gordon Ramsay. Nick also founded Osmo, a pantry essentials brand. In January 2025, they launched Nick’s Kitchen on YouTube, followed by a recipe website and, in 2026, Food Network broadcasts and a judging role on 100 Cooks.
My goal with Nick’s Kitchen is simple: to make cooking fun and accessible, because anyone can cook.Nick DiGiovanni, About Nick’s Kitchen
