Mini bio
How it started.
Abdullah grew up in Lahore and began playing guitar at nine. By eleven, he was teaching himself electronic production on a home computer. Early performances at Lahore Music Meet and radio play for “Telescope Heart” helped him find listeners, before “Resistance” on Nescafé Basement brought him wider attention in 2019.
An artist and a producer.
His own albums sit alongside work for other singers. He became an associate producer on Coke Studio 14, sang “Go” with Atif Aslam and co-produced “Pasoori” with Xulfi. He also composed the score for Saim Sadiq’s film Joyland. In 2023, he and Xulfi won Music Producer of the Year at the Lux Style Awards for “Pasoori.”
Back to his own voice.
Bad Music arrived in January 2026 after a gap in solo albums stretching back to 2021. In his release note, Abdullah described making three complete albums without releasing them as he wrestled with fear of failure. The ten-song record finally brought that long wait to an end.
