1. Who we are

Fangea (“we”, “us”) is operated by SOURCE PLATFORMS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16169006), whose registered office is at 172 Park Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, PE1 2UF. By creating an account or using Fangea you agree to these Terms, the Stars Policy and the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Fangea.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 to use Fangea and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy Stars.
• Give us accurate details and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Don’t sell, share or transfer accounts or Stars.

3. Stars

Stars are an in-app currency for backing creators. They have no cash value and can’t be withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for money. Buying, earning and sending are covered in the Stars Policy.

4. Fangea Rank and Starboost

Starboost reflects the Stars you send to a creator and decides your place in their Top 10, Top 100 or Top 1000. Rankings are a social feature. They give you no ownership, rights or payment from any creator.

5. Nominations and fan-built pages

• Anyone can nominate a creator with 100,000+ followers on a supported platform. We verify the nomination before we publish a page.
• Fan-built pages are created by Fangea from public information. They are not endorsed by, or affiliated with, the creator until the creator claims them.
• Fans can nudge a page. At 100 nudges we invite the creator to join. An invite is not a promise that they will.
• Stars can be sent to a creator once they have claimed their page or joined. Until then, fans can nudge a page but can’t send it Stars.
• Creators, or their authorised representatives, can ask us to correct or remove a fan-built page at any time. Contact connect@fangea.com.

6. For creators

Claiming a page means proving you are the creator or authorised to act for them. Once claimed, you control the page content. You are not paid in Stars. Any perks a creator offers their top fans are provided by the creator and may have their own terms.

7. Your content and conduct

You keep ownership of what you post, and give us a licence to host and display it on Fangea so the service can work. Don’t post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights. Don’t impersonate people, harass creators or fans, manipulate nudges or rankings, use bots, or try to get around Star limits or payments. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Third-party information

Follower counts and creator details on fan-built pages come from third-party sources, are rounded estimates, and may be out of date. Creator names and marks belong to their owners.

9. Service availability and liability

Fangea is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be excluded, including consumer rights.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these Terms. What happens to Stars on closure is explained in the Stars Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Fangea after that means you accept them.

12. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts, though this doesn’t remove any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Questions: connect@fangea.com.
