1. Who is responsible

SOURCE PLATFORMS LTD (company number 16169006, 172 Park Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, PE1 2UF) is the controller of your personal data. Contact our privacy team at connect@fangea.com.

2. What we collect

• Account: name, email, password (or Google sign-in details) and your role as superfan or creator.
• Activity: Star balance and history, boosts, nudges, Starboost, leaderboard position, follows and highlights.
• Nominations: the creator’s name and social link, plus your name and email so we can tell you when the page is live.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation, amount and a transaction reference, not your full card number.
• Device and usage: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed and crash data.
• Creators: verification details when you claim a page.

3. How we use it, and why

• To provide Fangea, run your account and process purchases (contract).
• To show leaderboards, rankings and creator pages (contract and legitimate interests).
• To keep Fangea safe, prevent fraud and abuse and enforce limits (legitimate interests).
• To send service messages and, if you opt in, updates and offers (contract and consent).
• To meet tax, accounting and legal duties (legal obligation).

4. What is public

Your display name, avatar and Starboost can appear on creator leaderboards and fan pages. Star balances and purchases are never public.

5. Who we share it with

• Creators see aggregated Star totals and, on leaderboards, the fans who rank in their Top lists.
• Service providers that host our systems, process payments, send email, and provide analytics and security, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
• Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
• A buyer or successor, if Fangea is ever sold or merged.

We don’t sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers are outside the UK or your country. Where that happens we use safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. After closure we delete or anonymise it within [30–90 days], except records we must keep, such as transaction records for tax [period], or data needed to resolve disputes.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict some uses, and withdraw consent at any time. Email connect@fangea.com and we’ll respond within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and if you live in the EEA you can contact your local authority.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your theme. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are only used with your consent. [Link to cookie settings]

10. Children

Fangea isn’t for anyone under 16. If we learn we hold data from a child under that age, we’ll delete it.

11. Security and changes

We protect data with encryption in transit and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure. We’ll post updates to this policy here and notify you of material changes.
