Before the records.
Before the breakthrough, Anastacia danced on Club MTV and in Salt-N-Pepa videos. In an ABC News interview, Anastacia recalled nearly giving up singing and considering psychology and social work with children, before an opportunity on MTV’s talent show The Cut kept the music career moving.
The songs fans came for.
“I’m Outta Love” and Not That Kind introduced Anastacia to an international audience in 2000. “Paid My Dues” and “Left Outside Alone” followed. The music moves between soul, pop and rock, a combination Anastacia calls “Sprock.”
Finding a way forward.
The official biography describes writing songs for Resurrection while facing a second breast cancer diagnosis in 2013. Later came the role of Killer Queen in We Will Rock You in 2019, followed by Our Songs in 2023, reinterpreting German hits in English and including a duet with Peter Maffay.
Still making new memories.
The debut’s 25th anniversary brought a digital expansion, a double-vinyl reissue and more touring. In 2026, a live album, symphonic performances and a Roachford collaboration gave fans fresh ways to hear familiar songs. Symphonic Revolution is listed on the official site for November 2026.
