Mini bio
How it started.
Andie described singing alone as a childhood escape in a family of seven children. A fifth-grade talent show gave an early taste of performing for an audience. After meeting guitarist Ajay through family friends, Andie began playing shows with him, then turned to YouTube to reach more listeners.
Songs from the passenger seat.
Working with Ajay Marshall and Naph Smith, Andie made stripped-down covers and car performances a calling card. In a 2016 interview, Andie recalled the Rixton “Me and My Broken Heart” car video going viral while still working as a barista. The Jason Derulo and Cheap Trick mashup followed, reaching No. 24 on the UK Singles Chart in 2015.
Making room for originals.
The covers opened doors to original music and collaborations. In 2017, Andie performed “Rehab” for the Recording Academy’s ReImagined series and won Megastar’s $1 million competition. In 2026, Show Me Yours, I’ll Show You Mine brought together six original songs. Speaking to Naluda that September, Andie reflected on how the cover catalog had helped build an audience for the originals.
