Mini bio

How it started.

Brodie’s path to creating grew out of ultimate at the University of Florida, where he played on the 2006 and 2010 national championship teams. In a 2014 interview with High Release, he recalled posting throwing tutorials after his final college season, hoping to help someone learn the game.

The first trick shots.

Friends encouraged him to try a trick-shot video, and he filmed it with teammates. His original compilation, released on May 4, 2011, was shot at the University of Florida. Its success helped turn his love of throwing a frisbee into a YouTube career.

Beyond his own channel.

His collaborations include a frisbee-versus-basketball game of HORSE with Legendary Shots. In 2016, he and ultimate teammate Kurt Gibson competed on season 28 of The Amazing Race, finishing fifth.

Disc golf and conversation.

Brodie moved into professional disc golf in 2020 and joined Foundation Disc Golf that year. Foundation now lists him as an owner. He also co-hosts Tour Life with Paul Ulibarri, discussing professional disc golf and interviewing players, while his own channel continues to feature rounds, challenges and trick shots.
