Mini bio

How it started.

Ben Cassell began streaming as CohhCarnage in 2013. Before making it his profession, he worked in IT. In a 2019 interview, he recalled nearly giving up after long, unscheduled streams failed to build the channel. Treating Twitch like a job, keeping his content safe for work and starting regularly at 8 a.m. helped him find a more sustainable direction.

Building the Cohhilition.

His community became the Cohhilition, built around being happy, helpful and respectful. He credits his team and moderators with keeping a large chat conversational. His original plan to stream daily for six months grew into a 2,000-day streak. He took a day off on April 7, 2019, explaining that he wanted more freedom to spend time with his family.

Beyond the playthroughs.

Cohh joined itmeJP and Ezekiel_III as a host of Dropped Frames, whose pilot appeared in January 2015. He also supplied the voice and likeness of Garry the Prophet in Cyberpunk 2077, sharing his first encounter with the character in December 2020. His work now includes helping lead Emberville at Cygnus Cross and sharing its development with fans.
