Mini bio

How it started.

Dixie grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, with younger sister Charli and parents Marc and Heidi. Both sisters found an audience on TikTok in 2019. The family signed with UTA and moved to Los Angeles in 2020.

Finding a voice.

Dixie released “Be Happy” in June 2020 and signed with HitCo that year. Collaborations followed with Wiz Khalifa, Liam Payne and Rubi Rose. The debut album, a letter to me, arrived on June 10, 2022, followed by an opening slot on Big Time Rush’s Forever Tour.

Beyond the songs.

Dixie created and hosted The Early Late Night Show on YouTube and appeared with the family across three seasons of The D’Amelio Show. Fashion campaigns and the family’s D’Amelio Brands businesses, including Be Happy Snacks, became other creative outlets.

At their own pace.

In a 2025 PEOPLE interview, Dixie described stepping back from frequent posting while continuing to make music privately. In 2026, Dixie returned to YouTube and told Slimi that creating had become more about self-understanding and trusting personal instincts.
