Mini bio

How it started.

Dytto’s story began in South Florida with gymnastics at two and a half. In the description of her original “Barbie” video, she traces that early training into a love of dance and a life in Los Angeles.

Becoming Barbie.

Her 2014 “Barbie” concept video brought a doll to life through movement. She told BASIC that her mother filmed it in their apartment parking garage and that she edited it herself. Fans then helped get her noticed by World of Dance, where her Barbie freestyle reached a much wider audience.

Beyond the freestyle.

Popping, animation and tiny geometric hand movements became her calling card. She went on to host The Drop for World of Dance, appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and earn a dancer credit in the 2018 film Life of the Party.

Making and sharing.

Today her official site brings together Dytto’s Dance Academy and her music. She offers online courses for different ages and levels, and released FEMBOT FILES in 2025. A Business of Dance interview also explores her work as an assistant choreographer for Shakira.
