The breakout.

Producer J.R. Rotem signed him to Beluga Heights. In 2009, Whatcha Say reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. In My Head and Ridin’ Solo followed, helping introduce his self-titled debut album in 2010. He also co-wrote Iyaz’s hit Replay.

Music meets the feed.

His catalogue grew through songs such as Talk Dirty, Want to Want Me and Swalla. In 2020, Savage Love with Jawsh 685 connected his songwriting with a sound already spreading on TikTok. He has continued using the platform and collaborations with other creators to bring songs to new listeners.
