Mini bio
How it started.
Lauren grew up in Miami and brought an Alicia Keys song, “If I Ain’t Got You,” to her televised X Factor USA audition in 2012. She was 16 and received four yeses. The competition brought her together with Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Camila Cabello as Fifth Harmony.
Finding her own voice.
After Fifth Harmony’s 2018 hiatus, Lauren released her debut solo single, “Expectations.” Collaborations with Halsey on “Strangers” and Steve Aoki on “All Night” had already introduced different sides of her voice. She also contributed “Invisible Chains” to the Birds of Prey soundtrack.
Making room for herself.
Lauren established Attunement Records and pursued an independent career with creative control and ownership at its center. PRELUDE arrived in 2021, followed by In Between in 2023. More recently, she has released music directly to fans through EVEN and explored alternative pop and rock on her next project.
