Mini bio

Finding the weather wall.

Raised around Cleveland, Nick tried college football at the University of Akron before focusing on broadcasting. Campus radio and television led to a reporting job in Mansfield, Ohio. Filling in on weather helped him find his direction. He went on to present forecasts in Beaumont, Texas, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Charlotte, North Carolina, before joining FOX Weather in 2021.

Before the dancing.

Nick says he first rapped a forecast in 2009 while working in Beaumont. After weeks of the same hot, sunny weather, he changed his delivery. Later, his Drip Chronicles recreated Cam Newton’s outfits using clothes from his own closet and accessories borrowed from his wife.

One more post.

His April 2019 Slide Like This video grew out of the need to find another social post for the day. He recorded a dance, went home for a nap and woke up to a phone full of notifications. The suit and weather-studio setting became part of the appeal. His videos now sit alongside television forecasts, street interviews and playful references to the rap music he loves.
