Mini bio

How it started.

Philza began posting to YouTube in 2006, with Halo 2 and Skate 2 among his early games, and created his Twitch account in 2009. He told PC Gamer he started playing Minecraft during its beta in 2011 and tried modded servers, PvP and vanilla play before settling into Hardcore.

The loss that changed things.

On April 24, 2019, a baby zombie and other hostile mobs brought his five-year Hardcore run to an end. The clip spread far beyond his regular audience. In his PC Gamer interview, Philza described viewers responding with kindness and his streams growing from a small gathering into a much larger community.

Worlds worth exploring.

His work goes beyond staying alive. Season 4 includes ENDlantis, NetherVoid, FlowerFall and the Greater Spawn Islands, each featured in his 2025 world tour alongside the lore connecting them. His project montages let fans revisit the builds in a shorter form.

Sharing the adventure.

Minecraft featured him in its official Meet a Minecrafter series in 2019. Alongside his solo worlds, he has competed in MC Championship and joined the Dream SMP. His channel also makes room for life away from the game, including a Japan vlog with Kristin released in April 2026.
