Mini bio
How it started.
Alexis, known to fans as Alex or Quackity, grew up in Mexico speaking Spanish. The main YouTube channel began as QuackityHQ in 2013, with short Toontown videos before branching into comedy about online games and communities.
Finding an audience.
Discord’s Got Talent turned the voice-chat app into a stage for contestants and guest judges. A 2019 episode paired Quackity with KSI and MrBeast. Joining Dream SMP in August 2020 brought another wave of viewers, and the Las Nevadas storyline became a notable part of their Minecraft roleplay.
Across languages.
Quackity opened QSMP on March 22, 2023, bringing English- and Spanish-speaking creators into the same Minecraft world. Live translation became central to the project. That interest continued in the international game show and Dababel announcement in 2025, followed by QSMP 2 in March 2026.
A difficult chapter.
In 2024, QSMP workers described unpaid work and excessive pressure in reporting by Le Monde. Quackity publicly promised changes to the studio and said everyone involved would be paid. The report also described French creators suspending their participation.
