Mini bio
How it started.
Quin began streaming in 2014 after discovering Twitch. In his interview with Grinding Gear Games, he said he moved back to his hometown of Wanganui when fibre internet arrived so he could pursue a career playing games.
Finding an audience.
Diablo III brought early recognition: fans voted him Favorite New Diablo III Streamer in the 2014 Blizzard Stream Awards. Blizzard then included him alongside DatModz and Rhykker in its live streaming lineup at BlizzCon 2015.
Builds, bosses and conversation.
Quin said persistent requests from chat persuaded him to try Path of Exile between Diablo seasons. Customising skills and making unusual builds work kept his interest. His work also includes interviewing Chris Wilson at ExileCon 2019, survival-game challenges and commentary on other players’ gameplay.
Beyond the stream.
His January 2025 videos questioning Elon Musk’s Path of Exile 2 gameplay reached beyond his usual audience, with Le Monde reporting on his analysis. Recent uploads return to Valheim, including a mapless search for Yagluth and footage from Ashlands.
