Mini bio
How it started.
Miko debuted on August 1, 2018, as a solo project under COVER, then joined hololive that December. In a 4Gamer interview, Miko recalled being scouted by YAGOO after watching creators including Tokino Sora, Kizuna Ai and Mirai Akari.
Finding an audience.
The early audience grew slowly. Real Sound credits GTA V and ARK: Survival Evolved streams with spreading Miko’s appeal in Japan and overseas. Minecraft mishaps and large group events became another part of the appeal, and the YouTube channel passed one million subscribers in April 2021.
The idol side.
Miko pairs game streams with singing and 3D concerts. The first full album, flower rhapsody, arrived in September 2024, followed by the first solo concert, flower fantasista!, at Ariake Arena in October. The musical partnerships include miComet with Hoshimachi Suisei and joint releases with Inugami Korone.
A wider canvas.
In 2026, Miko became a published picture-book author and illustrator with みこぴーと おおきな さくらのき. The second album, Blooming Cinderella, and second solo concert, Blooming Parade!!, followed that October.
