How it started.
DaniRep comes from Cádiz, Spain. The main YouTube channel launched in October 2012, followed by a second channel in January 2013. Early uploads included games such as Top Spin, Happy Wheels and Call of Duty.
Finding a lane.
GTA became the centre of DaniRep’s work, with regular races and challenges giving fans a reason to come back. By May 2022, the main channel had passed 12 million subscribers, and DaniRep was taking part in the London Eye streaming series. The channels now sit alongside Twitch broadcasts and reactions to GTA 6 trailers and images.
Meet Hidalgo.
DaniRep also makes reggaeton under the name Hidalgo. The official video for “Bebita” came out in December 2024, crediting Hidalgo for the lyrics and performance. In February 2026, FlooxerNow reported that the song had reached number one on Spotify’s Top 50 Viral España chart. Bachata and electrolatino versions followed in 2026.
