Mini bio

How it started.

Abdullah’s musical roots include a long friendship with guitarist Adnan Abbas Rizvi. A 2024 Homegrown feature describes them as childhood friends who had already spent a decade making music together. His own professional profile lists studies at Bilkent University from 2013 to 2018 and an early short-film award at The Lyceum School.

Songs with pictures.

His work with Hasan Raheem brought music production and filmmaking together. The official “Aisay Kaisay” video, published in January 2020, credits Abdullah with both film and music. “Joona,” published that December, carries the same dual credit, with Hasan singing and moving through a supermarket.

Building a creative circle.

As a co-founder of FT.WA Studio, Abdullah works across music and moving images. He co-directed Afusic’s “Pal Pal” video with Ali Khan Durrani. Afusic later told Dawn that Abdullah supported the project when others would not make the video and introduced his music to fellow artists.

The recent chapter.

His collaborations have continued with Hasan Raheem, Hamza Jahangir, Natasha Humera Ejaz and others. In 2026, he brought the two sides of his work together again on “Qasam” for Coke Studio Nu.WAV: producing, arranging and mixing the track, and directing the video for Shae Gill and Afusic.
