Mini bio
How it started.
Aima began sharing songs on SoundCloud in 2014 and found an early audience through Mazaaq Raat, where she co-hosted and sang. Film playback followed, including Lahore Se Aagey in 2016.
A face to the voice.
Coke Studio brought her voice and on-screen performances to a wider audience. Her 2017 duet Baazi with Sahir Ali Bagga put a traditional Siraiki folk song into a band arrangement. She later told The News that Coke Studio gave her the recognition her earlier playback work had not.
Her own music.
After years of soundtracks and collaborations, she introduced Funkari in 2023 as her first solo single without a brand behind it. By her July 2026 H! Pakistan interview, she was discussing the deeply personal album Guriya and new work filmed in London.
