Mini bio
How it started.
A.J. grew up in Frankfort, Illinois, and played at Lincoln-Way East High School. He helped the school win Class 8A state football titles in 2017 and 2019, then joined Michigan in 2020. His high school career earned him Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year recognition.
On the field.
At Michigan, he became a receiver and return specialist. He scored the opening touchdown against Ohio State in 2021 and earned All-Big Ten recognition as a returner in both 2021 and 2022. He moved to Northwestern for 2023 and 2024, recording 104 catches for 1,021 yards and eight receiving touchdowns across those two seasons.
Alongside the game.
His TikTok gives fans another way into his football life, with field clips, practice and training routines, and comedy about being an athlete. IZEA featured him among student-athlete creators, while 2aDays highlighted the relatable humor in his posts. In October 2026, a NOBULL training campaign brought that workout content into a brand partnership.
The next chapter.
Miami signed him as an undrafted free agent in May 2025. After spending his rookie season on the practice squad, he signed a reserve/future contract in January 2026. He returned to Miami’s practice squad in September 2026 after an August roster cut.
