Mini bio

How it started.

Diego Martín Balsa Rial was born in Uruguay and grew up in Monterrey, Mexico. A 20minutos profile traces the start to Twitch in 2016, followed by a first YouTube channel in 2018. The BarcaGamer channel launched in 2019 and became a focus of their growing audience.

Games and conversation.

The recurring thread is variety: games, jokes and time spent talking with viewers. BarCAST gives those conversations their own space. The podcast’s 2021 episodes covered living alone, work and relationships; its 2026 second season took on dopamine, AI and everyday communication.

Beyond the stream.

BarcaGamer collaborated with Rodezel, JCBG, Jaime and Hasvik on “Otra Vez,” and later voiced Ethan in the Latin American Spanish dub of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Football became another part of the story: Raniza FC, co-presided over with Alana Flores, won the first Kings League Americas split in May 2024. Queens League’s 2026 team page lists BarcaGamer alongside Javetas as co-president of Straight Edge United.
