Mini bio
How it started.
Benny studied electronic engineering and moved to Spain after college. Six months of classes and study still left him struggling to speak Spanish. Meeting a multilingual traveller nudged him to start talking and accept mistakes, an approach that became the heart of his teaching.
Sharing the experiments.
He began documenting short language-learning projects on Fluent in 3 Months in 2009. The blog turned those personal challenges into practical advice for other learners. National Geographic named him a Traveler of the Year honoree in 2013, and his book Fluent in 3 Months followed in 2014.
Books, talks and conversation.
His work includes the Language Hacking courses for Teach Yourself and a TEDxWarsaw talk about language learning. Today he continues sharing travel and language projects through his podcast, videos and coaching. His recent updates follow renewed work on Mandarin, Italian and Irish.
