Mini bio

How it started.

Brandon learned guitar from his father and built his recording career with help from listeners. A crowdfunding campaign supported Closer, his independently released 2016 debut. He also served as a worship pastor at Seacoast Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Songs that opened doors.

Bethel Music welcomed him in 2019. He co-wrote “This Is a Move,” recorded by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and the song earned a Dove Award and a Grammy nomination. His work with Elevation Worship included co-writing and singing “Graves Into Gardens.”

A growing songbook.

House of Miracles arrived in 2020, followed by records including COAT OF MANY COLORS and King of Hearts. “Gratitude” became a signature song. King of Hearts reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200, while “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Jelly Roll became his first Top 40 hit. In 2026, that duet won a Grammy, and new collaborations brought in Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Nick Jonas.

Trivia

  1. His father taught him guitar when he was young.
  2. The idea for “Graves Into Gardens” grew from a phrase in one of Steven Furtick’s sermons.
  3. House of Miracles also reflects a vision he and his wife had for their home: a place to welcome and pray with people in ministry who felt burned out.
