How it started.

In 2015, Jessica and Garrett sold their belongings and took their young family traveling after Garrett sold an iPhone app to Snapchat. They began sharing the journey on Instagram and YouTube, turning a family adventure into their work.

Behind the camera.

Their family journal grew around the adventures of Dorothy, Manilla and Calihan. Garrett handles photography, video and editing, while Jessica manages the main social accounts, sponsors and business collaborations.

A place to come home to.

Hawaii is their home base. Jessica told Glamping Show Americas that the children attend school full-time there, so the family now travels mainly during school breaks.

From videos to books.

Jessica’s 2024 National Geographic guide brings together practical family travel advice and 50 destination itineraries. The publisher calls it an instant USA Today bestseller. Garrett followed with a children’s picture book in 2025, while the family expanded into hosting through the Bucket List Collection.
