Mini bio
How it started.
Bugha grew up gaming with his dad, who bought consoles and welcomed him into games with his friends. As he pursued competitive Fortnite, he watched leading players and worked his way up through scrimmage ladders.
The breakout.
At 16, he won the solo competition at the Fortnite World Cup on July 28, 2019. His 59 points put him well ahead of runner-up Psalm’s 33, and the win earned him $3 million.
Beyond the World Cup.
He went on to win three FNCS titles. Epic Games turned him into a playable Icon Series outfit in 2021 and collaborated with him on Bugha’s Late Game. His work also includes Twitch streams, Fortnite videos and a gaming accessories line with Five Below.
Playing as a team.
In a 2023 interview, he described his role as an in-game leader and explained why keeping his composure matters to his teammates. He also talked about balancing entertaining an audience with improving as a competitor.
