Mini bio
How it started.
Before Fortnite, Tyler Blevins built his audience through competitive Halo. He began playing Halo 3 professionally in 2009 and streaming in 2011, later moving through battle royale games including H1Z1 and PUBG.
The breakout.
Fortnite became the turning point. In March 2018, he played with Drake, Travis Scott and JuJu Smith-Schuster in a stream that reached beyond his usual gaming audience. Smith-Schuster later wrote Ninja’s profile for the 2019 TIME100 list.
Beyond the match.
Fans can follow his ideas off stream, too. Get Good shares practical gaming advice, while The Most Dangerous Game turns Ninja into a graphic-novel hero, written with Justin Jordan and illustrated by Felipe Magaña. His AFK w/ Ninja podcast adds conversations with creators and guests from entertainment and sport.
Giving back.
After experiencing melanoma, he partnered with La Roche-Posay on Gaming for Cause in 2025. The event combined gaming with skin cancer awareness and fundraising. His channel carried another Gaming for Cause charity stream in October 2026.
