Mini bio

How it started.

Nick Kolcheff came through competitive Gears of War before building his streaming career. He began broadcasting in 2010 on Justin.tv, the platform that preceded Twitch, and later expanded into Call of Duty.

Finding his audience.

Fortnite brought a much larger audience to Nick’s streams. His commitment to playing on a controller became a defining part of his work. He turned livestreams into YouTube highlights, challenges and tips, giving fans different ways to follow the same games.

Competition and community.

Nick also competed in Apex Legends with Tripods. Away from ranked play, he built MFAM gatherings and crossover events such as the MFAM Gauntlet at UFC X. In January 2025, he left FaZe Clan after joining in 2019.

Beyond the setup.

Fitness is another part of Nick’s work: his Get Better Together movement shares training and encouragement with MFAM. He and Emu also set up the JoeJoe Fund to help community members pay unexpected veterinary bills.
