Mini bio
How it started.
Chelsea grew up in Westport, Connecticut, taking guitar and piano lessons as a child. She began posting covers and original songs to SoundCloud in high school and continued while studying history and playing soccer at Amherst College. In 2018, she left college to tour with Quinn XCII.
Finding her listeners.
“Your Shirt” became her breakthrough in 2017, followed by the Snow In October EP. She credits SoundCloud, Spotify and early playlist support with helping her songs find listeners. After two Sleeping with Roses mixtapes in 2018, she released her debut album, How To Be Human, in 2020.
Building a shared world.
Chelsea and Jeremy Zucker began their brent series with an EP in 2019, followed by brent ii in 2021 and the album brent iii in 2024. Their songs include “you were good to me” and “this is how you fall in love.” Her solo albums When I Close My Eyes and Stellaria arrived in 2021 and 2023.
Where she is now.
After spending much of 2025 at home in New York City, Chelsea returned with new singles in 2026 and released her fourth album, IS THIS THE END?, in September. The record draws on relationships, heartbreak and finding a way through the uncertainty of her late twenties.
