Mini bio
Finding his sound
Cory committed to a music career when he started music college. In Minneapolis, he played the local scene and crossed paths with Vulfpeck, who became friends and collaborators.
Rhythm up front
His work with Vulfpeck brought his rhythm guitar to a wider audience. He also leads his own band, makes records with musicians from across genres and brings music and comedy together in his YouTube variety show Cory and the Wongnotes.
Making room
His collaborations range from the reflective Meditations with Jon Batiste to orchestral music with Metropole Orkest. His 2026 album Lost In The Wonder puts guest vocalists at the center.
