Mini bio

How it started.

Dennis Lloyd is Nir Tibor, a musician from Tel Aviv. Trumpet lessons began at eight; at thirteen, they picked up their sister's guitar and taught themselves to play. Recording software and a first microphone opened the door to writing and producing at home.

Finding a sound.

After three years in the Israeli Navy, Dennis moved to Bangkok in 2015 to concentrate on music. In a small apartment without Wi-Fi, they experimented across genres. “Nevermind” grew out of a relationship begun while travelling in Laos, then found an audience through Spotify.

Songs that connect.

“Never Go Back” continues the relationship story after the breakup. Fans also found Dennis through the 2017 COLORS performance of “Leftovers.” Their debut full-length album, Some Days, arrived in July 2021 after a break from touring, with songs reflecting on success, uncertainty and recovery.

Working with others.

Dennis co-produced “The Way” with Kygo for Some Days and joined Robin Schulz on “Young Right Now” in 2021. More recently came “Mad World,” the YouNotUs collaboration “Diamonds,” and the 2026 singles “A Place I'm Calling Home” and “Movin'.”
