Mini bio
How it started.
Diipa studied international human rights law in the Netherlands and later pursued a master’s in the UK. In her Harper’s Bazaar interview, she recalls asking her parents for a year to try blogging. She wrote about outfits and spent mornings in a coffee shop emailing brands, agencies and PR teams.
Finding her voice.
Her early breakthrough came from showing the acne she had been editing out of photos. The response overwhelmed her blog. She has since described that moment as a lesson in how much people connected with vulnerability, and as part of the thinking that eventually led to indē wild.
Beauty with family roots.
Launched in 2021, indē wild brings Indian beauty rituals together with modern cosmetic science. Her mother, Dr. Sangitha Khosla, is an Ayurvedic doctor and dermatologist. The Champi Hair Oil grew from a family recipe, and mother and daughter have shared the hair-oiling ritual with fans on the Champi Tour.
Using the platform.
Diipa and her husband, Oleg, started Post for Change in 2019 to connect social media with social causes. In her own account, the initiative has worked with UNICEF and UN Women on campaigns and workshops. She also uses her personal platform to discuss the pressure placed on mothers, including through her breast-pump look at Cannes in 2021.
