Mini bio
How it started.
Mario Alonso Gallardo comes from Móstoles. Early gaming uploads were homemade: in a 2022 AS interview, they recalled recording the television screen with a phone.
Finding an audience.
In an El País interview, Mario traced their beginnings to Simpsons clips in 2006, followed by Call of Duty and Pro Evolution Soccer. Daily uploads from 2014 to 2019 and FIFA’s El Camino helped build their audience.
Football beyond the controller.
El Partidazo de YouTubers began at the Santiago Bernabéu in July 2019. Mario organizes the creator football event and captains Spain. They also lead Ultimate Móstoles and serve as DUX’s honorary president.
A voice inside the game.
In 2023, DjMaRiiO joined Miguel Ángel Román as a Spanish commentary voice for EA Sports FC 24. Their football videos also include collaborations with Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Pep Guardiola.
