Mini bio
How it started.
Dream created a YouTube account in 2014. In a WIRED interview, Dream recalled quitting a job and beginning to post in July 2019, treating video-making as full-time work.
The chase that broke through.
Minecraft Manhunt gives a simple goal a tense twist: finish the game while friends hunt the runner. YouTube named Dream its No. 1 U.S. Breakout Creator and No. 2 U.S. Top Creator of 2020. The platform reported growth from one million subscribers that January to more than 13 million by October.
A world built with friends.
Dream and GeorgeNotFound started the Dream SMP in April 2020. The private Minecraft server grew into an ensemble roleplay project, mixing planned story beats with improvisation. Dream played one of its villains.
Beyond the game screen.
Dream’s face reveal went live on October 2, 2022. Music became another way to tell personal stories: the seven-song debut EP to whoever wants to hear arrived on September 1, 2023, through Mercury/Republic. It includes “Everest” with Yung Gravy.
Building new tools.
In 2024, Dream introduced Fusion, a project bringing real people into Minecraft. The reveal described more than a year of work and learning new coding languages, camera techniques, and 3D concepts. Recent work includes renewed Manhunt challenges and the 2026 PmBata collaboration “Adrenaline.”
