Mini bio
How it started.
Ebony began sharing song covers on YouTube in 2009, starting with Jason Derulo’s Whatcha Say. The covers became a way to build an audience and collaborate with other musicians, including Shaun Reynolds.
A fan-powered breakthrough.
In 2013, Ebony won MTV’s Brand New competition while unsigned. Fans voted her ahead of a shortlist that included Tom Odell and Gabrielle Aplin. Later that year she released The Beginning, her first EP of original music.
More ways to spend time together.
Her work expanded into family vlogs on Our Tiny Tribe, alongside music releases including Home and Baby Sleep Songs. She now also co-hosts It’s a Girl Thing with Lucie Houchin, mixing everyday catch-ups with listeners’ friendship and relationship stories. In October 2026, the podcast announced weekly episodes.
