Mini bio
How it started.
Esther traces the beginning of her Abraham work to meditation in Phoenix in 1985. She describes Abraham as a source of spiritual guidance; her official site calls Abraham a nonphysical group consciousness. Esther and Jerry Hicks began presenting Law of Attraction workshops in 1987.
Books that brought readers in.
Hay House published Ask and It Is Given in 2004. Co-written with Jerry, it collects the Abraham teachings and 22 exercises for readers. Money, and the Law of Attraction followed in 2008 and became a No. 1 New York Times bestseller. Their writing also includes the fictional Sara books for children.
The conversation continues.
After Jerry died in November 2011, Esther continued the seminars with her team. Today fans can follow her through in-person workshops, Abraham NOW broadcasts and recordings. Audience questions remain central to the format: she invites people to bring the subjects they want to discuss.
