Mini bio

How it started.

Originally from Poland and educated at Oxford, Eva left a corporate job in London and bought a one-way ticket to Nepal. With no filmmaking qualifications, Eva set out to learn by making stories for YouTube.

The Pakistan chapter.

Pakistan became an early turning point. Eva first visited in April 2018, returned that June and built an audience with videos about the country. An early interview describes a fan-made compilation going viral, followed by the video “Eva Who Loves Pakistan”.

Life on the road.

In 2021, Eva began living and travelling in Odyssey, a Land Rover Defender. Expedition Wild followed in 2022, including the journey through North America to Alaska. German Shepherd Vilk joined that June. More recent films follow a different kind of adventure: tent and cabin life on the land, alongside longer trips and endurance runs.

Beyond the channel.

Eva also directs and hosts Superskilled for National Geographic, learning from people whose lives demand unusual skills. The series began in 2024 and returned for a second season in November 2025. In 2026, the memoir The Wilder Way brought the journeys and the search for a sense of home onto the page.
