Mini bio
How it started.
Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch brought their freestyle performances online, launching the F2Freestylers YouTube channel in 2011. Their shared language was ball control: tricks fans could enjoy watching and skills they could try for themselves. Their School of Greatness interview looks back at the move from stage performances to online videos.
The football playground.
The channel grew around tutorials, challenges and encounters with professional footballers. Its collaborations included Wayne Rooney, Nani, Ronaldo and Robinho. They also made videos about the FIFA games, bringing their football interests onto the screen as well as the pitch.
Beyond the channel.
They turned their teaching into the 2016 book F2 World of Football: How to Play Like a Pro. In 2018, F2 Finding Football took them around the world to explore local football cultures with celebrity guests. The Whistle-produced series earned a Daytime Emmy nomination and two Streamy nominations.
Where things stand.
Fans following the original duo should know that their old channel now presents itself as Pro Football Academy. Companies House records show a change of control at the F2 operating company in September 2025, followed by its new name. Recent updates here include the members’ individual work, with Billy and Jeremy identified in each item.
