Mini bio
How it started.
Matt Carins and Ryan Henderson met through a mutual friend and began writing together for the love of music. They recorded early songs in a friend’s garage, then traded recordings over Dropbox while travelling. Uploading their music to SoundCloud brought an audience they had never expected.
Finding their people.
Their 2017 EP Wanderlust brought listeners songs including The Woods, Home and Coastline. Coastline went on to earn Gold certifications in Australia and Canada. Their debut album Moments followed in 2019, recorded with producer Chris Bond in rural Devon.
Making room for the everyday.
During the pandemic, they built a home studio on the Gold Coast and learned to record themselves, making the self-produced Blessings EP in 2021. For 2024’s Nothing to Lose, they worked with Matt Corby on songs about gratitude, perspective and paying attention to life around you.
Taking the songs outside.
Their connection with nature also shapes their touring. In 2024, they partnered with the National Park Foundation, donating $1 from each US tour ticket. Their national television debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show featured On The Way performed at Zion Canyon Mesa.
