Mini bio

How it started.

Ilya Davydov became known as Maddyson through humorous game reviews posted to Rutube in 2008. He later worked on the service’s gaming section. His early videos made criticism of games into comedy, and he received the Hero of Runet award in 2009.

From reviews to streams.

His work expanded into film criticism and television, including the TNT program Games to Go (Игры на вынос). He began broadcasting on Twitch in 2013 under the HoneyMad name. Fans can also find his football and film discussions on his Maddyson entertainment channel.

Making games, too.

Maddyson founded and headed Mehsoft, the studio behind The Underground Man, released in 2016. The studio followed it with projects including The Mercury Man and The Underground Man 2. In September 2026, he told followers that he and his team were working on another game.
