Mini bio
How it started.
Dontai built a home for gaming videos on YouTube in 2009, then expanded into a reaction channel in 2015. An early movie review covered Fifty Shades of Grey. The channel grew to include roasts, interviews and reactions, especially to rap music.
Finding a wider audience.
The connection with XXXTentacion became an important part of the story. A Before They Were Famous profile, made with answers from Dontai, credits the reaction channel and those rapper relationships with expanding the audience. In 2019, Dontai shared their own account in How I Became Friends With A Legend (Full Timeline).
More than reactions.
Alongside the Twitch streams and ImStillDontai uploads, Dontai has stepped into other people’s projects. Crypt’s 2019 YouTube Cypher Vol. 2 features a Dontai verse; the 2026 horror short KIRA credits Dontai in its starring cast. Fans can also find lengthy album reactions, including Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains and Kendrick Lamar’s GNX.
