Mini bio

An island beginning.

Jay grew up in Haleiwa on Oahu. In the story on the official website, Jay describes discovering photography during a difficult childhood and leaving school at 13. After losing their mother to cancer, making images became a way to explore beyond the island.

The first films.

Jay dates the start of their creative work to 2011 and credits “Dream world” with reaching a larger audience. In Dream World appeared on YouTube in January 2015, followed by Summer that September. Travel and action sports became the thread connecting the films.

Beyond the travel feed.

Modeling brought magazine and campaign work, including a GQ Style Russia cover in 2020 and a BOSS runway appearance in 2023. Jay also founded Sunkissed by Heaven, a skincare brand shaped by time outdoors and in the ocean.

Jay told Inked in 2022 that their travels began with a two-month surfing trip to French Polynesia.
