Mini bio
How it started.
Jelty comes from Los Mochis, Sinaloa. In a 2022 interview with Línea Directa, they recalled playing emulator games on their parents’ computer from around age five, with cousins helping deepen that interest. Their Twitch bio traces Fortnite back to Season 1 on PS4, followed by a move to PC.
An early stage.
In July 2019, Jelty teamed up with Gabriel “Werevertumorro” Montiel at the Fortnite World Cup Celebrity Pro-Am in New York. The pair finished third and earned $250,000 for charity. It was a notable early result alongside an established Mexican creator.
The competitive years.
G2 Esports signed Jelty in January 2021 after results including eighth in the 2020 FNCS Invitational and second with Criizux at December’s DreamHack Open NA West. Liquipedia records the G2 stint through April 2023. Jelty also finished third with andyvencha and Criizux at the 2021 FNCS Grand Royale in North America West.
Beyond the tournament lobby.
The YouTube channel mixes Fortnite with challenges, other games and personal vlogs. Jelty documented the trip to the 2023 ESLAND Awards, where they won esports player of the year. In the 2025 video “MI HISTORIA: JELTY,” they revisited the competitive journey, including the trio they call “onichan” and solo Cash Cups.
