Mini bio
How it started.
JoJo grew up in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and moved to Los Angeles at 17. Dance conventions and mentors including Brian Friedman, Bobby Newberry and Cheryl Murakami helped her discover commercial dance.
Building her own path.
After facing pressure about her body at auditions, she began building a career around her own choreography. Filmed classes and work with Tim Milgram helped her audience grow. Tinashe’s team found her online dances and approached her about “Company,” released in 2017.
From classes to pop stages.
Her agency credits include choreography for Demi Lovato, Maren Morris, Tinashe, Charlie Puth and the Backstreet Boys. She continues to share classes and tutorials, and her 2026 singles “TTB” and “ROWDY” bring her work into recording music.
