Mini bio

How it started.

Kailyn first appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2010, then became one of the mothers followed on Teen Mom 2. Fans watched her navigate early motherhood, school and family life. She left MTV in 2022 and continued sharing her life through podcasts, books and social media.

Putting her story on the page.

Her first memoir, Pride Over Pity, arrived in 2014. In a 2019 Inked interview, she said she had wanted to write a book since starting the show and wrote when she felt emotional. Hustle and Heart followed with personal stories and advice about handling life’s challenges.

Finding her own microphone.

Coffee Convos began in 2017 with Lindsie Chrisley. Kail later added Barely Famous and co-hosted Baby Mamas No Drama with Vee Rivera. Her current work includes Karma & Chaos with Becky Hayter and the KILLR Podcast Network, where her official site describes mentoring newer podcasters.

Making room for books.

Kail also runs Chapter Seven Book Club, which she described in 2026 as meeting online once a month. Her Barely Famous interviews bring authors into the conversation, while her book club gives fellow readers somewhere to talk about what they have read.
