Mini bio
How it started.
Kay grew up in Chicago, the daughter of Polish immigrants. At Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, she wrote for the school paper and found ways to turn class assignments into video projects. While attending the University of Missouri, she worked in bars and local radio, including overnight shifts on a country music station.
Finding her way into sports.
Sports conversations with customers helped open a door to SiriusXM. She built experience with fantasy sports, became an in-game host for the St. Louis Cardinals and went on to work for NBC Sports. Her early career also included DirecTV’s Fantasy Zone.
The breakfast table.
From 2016 to 2022, Kay was one of the hosts of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. The daily show made her a familiar part of fans’ football mornings. She also hosted People (the TV show!) from 2020 to 2022.
Building her own conversation.
Up & Adams began in September 2022 on FanDuel TV. Kay talks football with current and former players, coaches and guests from entertainment, with interviews also reaching fans on YouTube. In 2025 she added Netflix Sports Club, a podcast exploring the people and stories behind Netflix’s sports programming.
