How it started.
Leilani grew up watching an older sister apply makeup. That sister later bought Leilani’s first laptop and encouraged the creative path. Leilani initially built an audience with funny skits; viewers kept asking about the makeup and outfits.
Finding the beauty audience.
In interviews, Leilani describes filming eyeshadow looks at 13 and returning to beauty after stepping away when those videos struggled. The first transition video became a breakout moment. Today, product reviews sit alongside the transformations, giving fans both practical information and ideas to try.
Making something fans can wear.
In 2025, Leilani co-developed She’s The One, a custom Cream Lip Stain shade with Sephora Collection. Forbes describes it as the brand’s first creator licensing project. Leilani was subsequently named to the Social Media category of Forbes’ 2026 30 Under 30 class.
