Mini bio

How it started.

Long before League, Tyler played console games at his grandmother’s house. In a 2019 interview, he recalled starting with a Mario game on the Super Nintendo, playing GoldenEye with his cousin, and finding an early competitive outlet in Super Smash Bros. Melee. RuneScape came before League when he moved to PC.

The breakout and the return.

Tyler built an audience around high-level League of Legends and Draven, alongside behavior that led Riot Games to ban him in 2016. While barred from League, he branched into other games and comedy streams. Riot lifted the ban in January 2018, and his first stream back drew more than 382,000 concurrent viewers.

Making his own events.

The Tyler1 Championship Series began in 2017, pairing amateur League competition with his own commentary and green-screen production. The 2018 edition offered a $50,000 prize pool. His creative side also shows up in A Day in the Life of Tyler1, released on April Fools’ Day in 2018.

New challenges.

In February 2022, Tyler completed his climb to Challenger across all five League roles. Chess became another sustained challenge: Chess.com described his rise from around 200 to nearly 2000 when announcing him for SuperPogChamps in 2025. By 2026, his All-Stars series was bringing players and creators together for regional 1v1 events.
