Mini bio
How it started.
Luke grew up in Essex listening to his dad’s soul records. After some childhood piano lessons, he began learning his favourite songs himself. Winning a local pub talent competition around 13 or 14 gave him the confidence to keep performing. He told Fame he started writing songs around 15, wanting his originals to move people as much as his covers did.
Finding his sound.
Luke toured as a vocalist with Rudimental, including shows in Australia. In his Wonderland interview, he described “Heaven” as a turning point after leaving a record deal: a song about chasing something for years and hoping it feels as good as he imagined.
A song reaches new ears.
His version of Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do for Love” featured on Love Island in July 2019. PA reported that the placement took him to the top of the Shazam chart. His recordings since include the 4am EP, an acoustic “Is This Love” and “Dancing On the Moon” with Unknown Brain.
Where the music takes him.
Luke’s own channel now pairs recorded releases with performances in everyday places, from Griffith Park to hotel lobbies. In 2025 he joined RuthAnne on “The Vow (Duet)” and released “Hallelujah”, produced by Forest Blakk. He also appeared on Beder’s 2025 Concert for Mental Health bill and supported Forest Blakk in Zurich in May 2026.
