Mini bio

How it started.

Naseebo grew up in a family with roots in Rajasthan, singing at weddings and family gatherings. In her DESIblitz interview, she described learning first from her mother, then training with Ustaad Lal Khan and working with composer and tabla player Tafoo. Producer Sarvar gave her a film break in Desan Da Raja, which included “Jinda Yaar Juda Ho Jaye” and “Kundi Na Kharka.”

A wider audience.

Punjabi films and stage work became central to her career. Her 2016 Coke Studio debut included “Sasu Mangay,” a collaboration with Umair Jaswal that combined a Rajasthani folk song with soft rock. She told The Express Tribune that appearing on the show marked a turning point for her.

Songs fans share.

In 2021 she sang “Groove Mera,” the Pakistan Super League anthem, alongside Aima Baig and Young Stunners. The following year she joined Abida Parveen for “Tu Jhoom” in Coke Studio Season 14, with music arranged and produced by Xulfi and Abdullah Siddiqui. Her soundtrack work includes “Main Haar Giyan” for Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.

What matters to her.

Speaking to H! Pakistan in 2021, she said financial stability shaped the film and stage songs she accepted early on. She also spoke about supporting younger artists and named folk and Sufi music as her own listening preferences.
